Comstock 2.0

Long time, no blog. I’m still not used to having this thing. I’ll try to be better going forward!

One of the things that’s been occupying my thoughts now that Damon & Hunter is done, is a long (long) needed redesign of the Comstock Films Web site.

Are there any features of the current site you feel strongly about one way or another? Things you wish we did that we don’t? Things you really wish we’d stop doing? Drop me a line, either here in the comments, or via email (peggy@ the domain here) and let me know! I’d love to get input from people who actually use the site.

[…] But there’s no rest for the wicked. I’m back to work on Matt and Khym: Better Than Ever, and Peggy’s turning her attention to a redesign of ComstockFilms.com. She’s taken the novel step of actually asking people who visit the site what they like, what they find troubling, what they might like to see added. (Some top level navigation to get to her blog is high on the list!) […]

Peggy my love, forgive me if this is here and I just don’t know how to get to it but is there room for a page of link to interviews or the interviews themselves on pages to get around the sometimes movable feast that it the net. I’m thinking of interviews like the one at Clamour - http://www.clamormagazine.org/issues/35-5/content/sex_1.php
(even if it does have a dubious title…;) ) a page where folks might be able to tap into the newsletter or past issues of the newsletter might be good. I guess a quote about Damon and Hunter on the opening page and/ or the lovely DVD cover would be nice. Beyond that, you know I like your site very much MrsC - you’re a clever chick. :)

No, Ell, you’re absolutely right — it’s a section I will definitely build into the new site. Tony wasn’t quite such a publicity whore when we designed the current site, hahaha. And thanks, as always!

I snorted tea when I read the bit about the publicity whore - you shouldn’t do that! Oh I remember when the aforementioned was a shy petal… good for you both, blow your trumpets loud and clear, you’ve got something very good. I’m looking forward to the new incarnation.
