Oh, what a relief it is!
It’s kind of hard to explain the tension over the last few weeks, waiting for Damon & Hunter to finally get here already. Definitely a learning experience, that’s for sure. And it really makes me happy to see how patient and good-willed our customer base has been for the most part. There were a few grumblers here and there (I’m surprised there weren’t more, frankly!) but the vast majority of people have been amazingly supportive of our efforts and understanding about the difficulties we ran into.
So, you know, to put it more formally: Comstock customers rule, dude!
Now I’m mostly in a state of nervous excitement, waiting for people to receive their copies of the film, and to see what they think of it. I hope you’ll let us know.
Okay, enough celebrating…back to Matt & Khym…

I just got my dvd yesterday and I love it!! the interview is fascinating and really amusing at points, and it’s so neat to watch the genuine affection between Hunter and Damon. And the sex is gorgeously shot (and hot!!!). I loved listening to you and Tony banter in the commentary, and hearing about the filming process, too!

Heya! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Always great to hear (because, truly, Tony and I gnaw on our fingernails after putting these babies out into the world, it’s so hard to know, you always wonder if you’re not just delusional…) And yes, I’m glad that the quality of Damon & Hunter’s relationship came through. It was palpable when we met them, and they’re clearly still going strong.
As for the commentary — extra thanks for mentioning that you liked that. LOL, you know how weird it is to hear your own voice on a recording or something? Now imagine how awkward and weird it is to *send* a recording of your voice out to an untold number of people who may or may not wind up thinking you’re a total idiot, and you may have some idea of the degree of trepidation I felt in recording that behind-the-scenes bit with Tony. Very glad to hear you enjoyed it.

I just watched my copy (thank you so much) and I loved it! (I actually watched the commentary first. You were so cute. *g*) You guys do an amazing job, and I’m so proud of you. Yay, Comstocks!!
