If I remember rightly Marie and Jack: A Hardcore Love Story was cheerfully dispatched across the seas, late in 2003 by the good folk at Comstock Films, and arrived at about the same time that my copy of Violet Blue's Ultimate Guide To Adult Videos landed in my hot little hands. It was near the beginning of my quest watchable porn.

My recollection is that you, TC, intimated rather cutely that the film was possibly best enjoyed and viewed with my lover's face between my legs -- it was and is, and has been many times since. In fact, I'd highly recommend both the film and the viewing method. I'll confess that the method may have positively biased my opinion of the film, but it's a risk worth taking, in my estimation.

I do sometimes wonder and imagine that it's a funny, contradictory place for a filmmaker when the "success" of a film and it's intent is to create excitement between the viewers to the point where the film risks being ignored and to some extent, becomes background. That's my excuse for the need to repeat the viewing process a good number of times anyway…

We're very much looking forward to many more hot little films making their way across the sea.
