Thanks, Tony: all this is most illuminating for a British reader/viewer.
Sheer bad manners indeed, for Sullivan not even to name his source! Is his blog in any way TIME-sponsored? -- if it were I could just about accept that they might be anxious to avoid anything like 'free publicity' for any business, so mightn't mention yours. Though of course the more likely suspicion would be that they are (or Sullivan is) looking over their shoulders for potentially offendable readers? But any writer, let alone so eloquent a writer as you are on this topic, both deserves to have it stated that his words have been quoted selectively, and for readers to be told his NAME, dammit!

[...] If these words seem familiar to you, it might be because you read them here in my May 9, 2006 entry IT’S NOT ABOUT PROCREATION, a reference to the first line of DAMON AND HUNTER: DOING IT TOGETHER.
Thank you, CG. :-) Sometimes when a post, especially one of my more impassionded posts goes by without comment I wonder if I haven't lost my mind and my readers too.

Do you suppose these people who say such hateful things about love and sex have any idea how much pain they cause, or harm they inflict? Probably not. Thoughtlessness and selfishness are (thanfully) more common than genuine malice and evil.

Seriously.

Dang, that is a beautiful, powerful piece of prose, Tony Comstock. I'm proud to call you my friend.
