<description>During my second year of university, after making my JL film, I wanted to send it to the Melbourne Underground Film Festival, as you well know, their website address is www.muff.com.au, and from my university computer I couldn't access it because of the word 'muff', I was so outraged I made an official complaint to the chancellor - the filtering system has since been removed completely and in place is a certificate saying that in accessing the computers will not look up pornography etc, this works better because it leaves the user in an adult education institution to make choices using their on discretion - empowering autonomy to the individual is one of the basic functions of allowing freedom of will - my son who is eight has always had this right, and as far as I am concerned he makes more informative judgements on what is appropriate for himself then half the people I've witnessed grown up being told, "You can't do that", "You can't see that", "You can't say that", the can't people through fear of having their own views subversified enforce conceptual chastity belts that only work to imprison ideas.
